Business Review: Is the Xango Model Right for You?
Posted by valeriJul 18
Overview
Xango is yet another traditional style multi-level-marketing company that has become a player in the Juice and Health & Wellness Industry. According to Wikipedia, XanGo, LLC, was founded in 2002, and it is a privately owned international multi-level marketing company based in Lehi, Utah. The company markets and distributes Xango juice, a blended juice product consisting of mangosteen and other juices, skin care, personal care, energy supplement and nutritional supplement products formulated with botanical ingredients. Xango claimed to have made 50 million dollars in sales their very first year of operation, although these sales can be attributed to the front-end purchases that their distributors are encouraged to make. Again, XanGo employs a traditional style of multi-level-marketing which means that you will be building a team of people underneath you and encouraging them to buy product to distribute. Furthermore, an assessment of a break-even benchmark suggested that in order to break-even on your XanGo distributor monthly cost you would need 23 reps (or 23 team members) under you. A XanGo Testimonial from a current distributor put the average commission for at 11% for the first 10 months which means that if you were to sale $1,000 worth of XanGo product, you would pocket $110.
XanGo Training System
XanGo still operates with a traditional style MLM Marketing and Recruiting Strategy. They encourage their distributors to recruit family and friends, hold House Meeting, Presentations, and Events to promote the product. Their training tools and sales products, such as information brochures, compensation plan booklets, CD’s and DVD’s, can be purchased through the XanGo Shop online at the distributor’s expense. Ultimately, XanGo believes that the marketing strategy is the responsibility of the distributor to develop.
Final Review
XanGo Juice is not a Scam. However, XanGo does not have a very lucrative compensation plan. The average commission for first year distributors is at a shockingly low 11%, which means that you should plan on spending more money than you actually make, although this percentage can increase over the years depending on your sales performance. Furthermore, they have a very antiquated Marketing System which consists of traditional style MLM, 3 Foot-Rule, Recruit Family and Friends, and Host House Meetings.
Whether the XanGo business opportunity is right for you or not, is your decision to make, however, if you become a distributor my recommendation is that you’ll need to leverage your teams marketing knowledge or an Internet Marketing System that can generate faster results and that can work for you 24 hours a day.
